We submit your Web site to a selection of reputable, hand-picked directories. This includes a mix of our
favorite general directories as well as vertical - or niche - directories
that are appropriate for your industry.
There are two good reasons for submitting your site to directories:
- So that people who use directories as
a search facility can find you. (Niche directories, or good
vertical directories are more likely to attract this sort of
traffic than general directories.)
- So that you
can gain some quality links that point to your Web site as part of
your efforts to boost your site's ranking in the
search engines.
There are hundreds, even thousands, of directories that you can submit your site to but most fulfill neither of
these objectives. We do not submit to these directories.
We custom-pick and recommend directories based on various
criteria including:
- Your budget. Some directories are free and some require payment.
- The quality and reputation of the directory and the type of link it provides.
- Your Internet marketing goals.
- The nature of your business. Some industries have great
niche directories.
