Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
What to expect from optimization
What should you expect once your site has
been optimized?

It's a great idea to ask this question because optimization
represents a significant investment in your Web site and misconceptions abound.
Know what it is that you're spending your money on and you'll
be confident of your investment.
What optimization will do:
- improve your site’s representation in the search engines results page.
- get your Web site found for a great variety of important
keywords.
- increase the quantity and quality of traffic to your Web site.
- create a better flow of traffic through your site.
- channel your Web visitors to your sales pages.
- create a better user-experience that will satisfy your Web visitors.
- snowball in effectiveness over time, as you continue to
enhance your SEO.
What optimization will NOT do:
- guarantee top positions in Google for major keywords of your
choice.
If this is what you believe SEO is for you may be disappointed.
We aim for top positions for as many words as possible, but
there are no guarantees. If it's essential you get top positions
for very specific keywords, consider supplementing your SEO with a
pay-per-click ad campaign.
Optimizing
your Web site is like working out at the gym - the end product is a
result of the accumulative effect of your efforts over time.
If you accept that optimization is not something you do today and
benefit from tomorrow morning, you've set yourself up to be
richly rewarded a few months down the line, and in the long term.
